Avantek Quote System User Guide.
After you log in you can see a list of your previous quotes (if any).
Now you have some options:
Get new quote.
or:
Special order Item Quote
(NB if you want to create a special order item please do this first. You will then be taken into the main quote page with the item you just created at the foot of the list. Please then choose warranty and insurance and add in delivery and training options if necessary)
or:
Click on an existing quote number which will enable you to edit a saved quote.
or:
Click on “copy” this will copy the previously saved quote details and allow you to change the student name, add/remove items etc.
Generating a new quote:
Choose the length of warranty required and whether you want insurance or not.
If you choose a laptop or desktop the relevant anti-virus, warranty and insurance, software load, delivery and on site installation will now automatically be added when you click the “generate quote” button at the foot of the page.
For a laptop, the system will also auto-add an ergo bundle of keyboard, mouse, laptop stand etc (you can remove this at the quote review stage).
When in quote-review mode you can change quantities and remove items if you wish.
If you do change any quantities (eg the number of training sessions), please clink on “update quantities” at the foot of the page.
Any training you add will automatically be shown as a separate item at the end of the quote for NMH purposes.
Then export to word or excel to suit your needs.
Then clink on “save quote” - this is important!.
The saved quote will then appear in your quotes list.
